Polonia Ensemble was featured in five separate segments ( 7:00, 7:45, 8:00, 8:25, 8:45 am) on Chicago's WGN Morning News (Channel 9) on Monday, March 5, during the "Celebrate Poland" event at Navy Pier. The group presented a variety of traditional Polish dance and talked about its history and performances throughout the USA and abroad.

Celebrate Poland with WGN Morning News

Chicago is home to the largest Polish population outside of Warsaw! Navy Pier hosted Celebrate Poland, a three-day festival celebrating Chicago's rich Polish heritage and commemorating Revolutionary War hero Casimir Pulaski. 

WGN Morning News joined the "Celebrate Poland" event by broadcasting Polonia Ensemble's performance in the Crystal Gardens at 7-9 AM on Monday, March 5th. Ana Belaval, the host of the program "Around Town", became a leading member of the ensemble.

Presented by Navy Pier Entertainment. Navy Pier gratefully acknowledges the generous support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Chicago in the development of "Celebrate Poland" programming.
