Tatry Choreographer






Karen Lubiarz has been the PRCUA Tatry dance teacher since 1989. She danced with the PWA Pozan Dancers for nine years and was the 1985 PWA Queen. Through the Pozan Dancers, she was trained in tap, jazz and ballet as well as Polish dancing. While in the Pozan Dancers, she participated in several competitions and the group receives many awards.

Karen has been a member of the Wawel Folk Ensemble for the past twenty years. She has traveled with the ensemble to San Francisco, Boston, Minneapolis, New York, Montreal, and Los Angeles to participate in festivals sponsored by the Polish Folk Dance Association of America. Karen plans on attending future festivals in order to further her knowledge of regional and national dances of Poland.
